Cantabria’s International Campus boasts both the support and participation of the whole of Cantabria in an integral pact to work towards the social and economic regional development.

Cantabria’s main public and private organisations adhere to the before-mentioned initiative.  Among those organisations are the International University of Menéndez Pelayo, the Parliament of Cantabria, the Regional Government, the City Councils of Santander and Torrelavega, Sodercan, the Marqués of Valdecilla University Hospital of and the Valdecilla Virtual Hospital, the Port of Santander, the Comillas Foundation, the Albéniz and Marcelino Botín Foundations, the CSIC, the Spanish Institute of Oceanography, Santander Bank, Caja Cantabria, the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce and CEOE-CEPYME.  Each of these organisations contributes their own strengths to one or various areas of Cantabria’s International Campus in order to consolidate a Region of Knowledge project.
